My New Car...2012 W212 E63 AMG Designo Edition
Picked up a new hot rod the other day – 2012 W212 Palladium Silver/Designo Red Mystic E63. San Francisco Bay Area car since new with 38,450 original miles. Whoever ordered this from Germany, knew what they were doin! One of the most highly optioned E63’s I’ve seen.
Some Highlights:
-Premium Leather
-AMG Carbon Ceramic Braking System
-P30 AMG Performance Package
-Carbon Fiber Trunklid Spoiler
-Carbon Fiber Engine Cover
-Designo Mystic Red
-Rear Side-Window Sunshades
-Rear Side Airbags
-Nightview Assist Plus
-19” AMG Twin 5-Spoke Forged Alloy’s
-Driver Assistance Package: Distronic Plus
Sticker was $124,685. It originally belonged to a MBZ corporate officer I was told. I’m the second owner. I purchased the vehicle CPO through Mercedes Benz of Stevens Creek and extended the bumper to bumper warranty out to 2019 (fully transferable). I also bought the 36-month service package as well as the tire & wheel insurance package. The guys at the dealership were extremely cool and worked with me on price and packages. Such a great experience there. Highly recommend them!
Nothing left to do but drive it! Feels good to be back in the club!

Wow. Nice. I picked up the same car about a month ago with almost the same options as yours, but mine had full CF interior and exterior trims including rear CF diffuser and front CF splits.
Your options of the Ceramic brakes was one of the options I wanted to get, but then I did some research ( Car and Driver actually did a track test on our 2012 W212 AwMG E63 with P30 ) and its said that the ceramic brakes was not worth the money because it only stop the car 2 inches faster than the P30 red brakes so I took that off my list when I was searching for my AMG. With that said, your ceramic brakes still looks hot.
I grew up in Fremont so I know exactly where you bought your car, so my question is ( if you don't mind me asking ) how much did you pay for your new toy?
My MSRP was $116,385 and I purchased my 22,150 miles CPO at $69,500 before tax and extended warranty.
I have changed the orange side markers to the smoked side markers and renntech big fin diffuser is on order and have renntech catless pipes, ECU tune and 20" wheels and renntech lowering module on a very near future purchase.
Here is some photos of my toy. Hope ( no, I know you will ) you enjoy your new toy.

@Norcal John great car! I'm surprised to see one specced the way it is. I've got the same Mystic Red interior on my wagon. It's interesting to see how designo leather has changed throughout the W212 generation. On the prefacelift, thanks to your photos, I've now seen it with the color in the door panel with the black piping running down the center and I've also seen it where's it's all black with slanted stitching regardless of interior color. On the facelift cars it's now finished in color with slanted stitching. Just one of those interesting nerd facts that I learned from seeing your photos.

^^^^^ Vdubpower - you're right! I spaced on the color - it is Palladium silver! Doh!
^^^^^ DavidKuo0330 - As for purchase price, without disclosing exact amount, I paid less than half of the original purchase price. Your white W212 is really nice looking. White is actually my favorite color for these models. With carbon fiber and the black pano roof - they look killer.
I'm not modding this car. Ride quality and resale value are important to me as a late 40s suburban white dude! :-) Not to mention the warranty void issue upon modding. Boring I know but I personally feel these hot rods are perfect from the factory, especially considering this one's extensive options

Good eye. Vdubpower and I ( except my is a 2011 E350 ) have the iridium silver, but I do like the Palladium silver as well.
As for my E63. I too love the Daimond White as it has the metallic silver sparkle mixed with the white so it does enhance the CF trims.
I saw your toy also came with the CF trunk lid spoiler. My question is: Was this a option on your original sticker with a price tag of $700? The reason I asked is as said. My came with all exterior and interior avaible through Mercedes/AMG so I always wonder if my dealer was trying to make a extra buck and added $700 for the CF trunk lid spoiler ? Please kindly advise.
Other than that. Very nice choice on your new toy and enjoy it. It's a monster as is.

Can you post pics of car with rear view? Deciding if I want to go the carbon fiber spoiler route vs. Paint.

Regardless if this E63 post is from the grave, I can't help myself ... the Mystic Red int with piano black or black wood trim (instead of the seemingly ubiquitous CF) is outstanding.
