2018 E63S,
Aftermarket Filters? Yes or no ?

Ive been around the Modified car world for a long time. What Ive noticed through all the years is the debate on aftermarket air filters. Im pretty new to the E63 world, so I wanted to ask, if aftermarket filters amount to anything on these cars. Id hate to install a filter just to watch it disintegrate over time and grenade the engine/valve train. What do you all use? Stock? BMC? K&N? AFE? Any gains from the aftermarket filters?

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Very little gains are going to be had from aftermarket filters alone, certainly not anything that'll be felt at the pump or in the seat of your pants.

Stick with the stock filters
