Hi I need advice/opinion on towing my 2010 E63 from Santa Barbara, CA to Phoenix, AZ. It's at high miles currently (88,000) and I don't want to drive it and add more miles to it, it's about 550-600 mile trip. I'm using a 2006 Toyota Sequoia to tow it and am using U-Haul's Auto Transport (http://www.uhaul.com/Trailers/Auto-Transport-Rental/AT/) is this a safe option to go about transporting this vehicle or should I just drive it, also trying to look at the most affordable/safest route possible. Thanks!

Just be sure to use high quality, strong tie downs. I thought I was using a thick, strong chain to keep the car from moving on the trailer until I had to do an emergency brake that caused the chain to break (yes, car was in gear with parking brake) and my car slid forward several inches. Luckily no damage, but I immediately went to an auto store to buy the proper straps.

Definitely make sure it's properly secured.
If I were you, I would just enjoy the entire trip by driving it, especially if you have ELW to cover it. My ELW covers up to 135K miles and there's no way I'll be able to reach that before the ELW expires. Hey, it's not a collector's item so might as well drive it because that's what it is for. It sure is more fun than driving a Sequoia.
