Brake time
So....what have people done with their braking systems?
I'm planning a road trip to Switzerland next month and my brakes are feeling a bit soft and weak, so I want to get them running A1 or else risk driving off the edge of a mountain.
My disks are only very lightly lipped....I think a pad change should be sufficient, but getting the discs skimmed might be a good idea. I've got the two piece PP rotors.
Pads...Are oem the best pads for the rotors? Oem are super expensive man (like, $1000USD equivalent) for front and rear pads, but i guess if they do a great job, then...
Also, any thoughts on Yellowstuff EBC or are they as rubbish as my experience tells me from having them on my Toyota Celica? I've always heard Ferodo DS2500 are meant to be awesome...but do those squeal? And do they need to be warmed up, ie are they a good street/DD pad to use?
I'm planning to put in fresh brake fluid too...I assume oem MB is a good shout?

If all you plan to do is replacing the brake pads. Get the Rado dust free pads. You would regrade it. Good luck.
