2010 E63 AMG
suspension noise and cluster turns on e63??

I sort of have a weird situation that neither the dealer or other shops was able to assist me.. It's my 2010 E63 AMG...Just a few weeks ago I noticed every time I lock my car doors, noise comes from my rear suspension and my instrument cluster turns on and then goes off 5 seconds later and does it again every 5-10 minutes for a good 2 hours, I've taken the key far away from the car, and it still does the same, I had my suspension and cluster checked out and it checked out good, so I don't know what's going on? Any suggestions or ideas?

Suspension lets air out after its off. Mine makes noises (air releasing) anywhere from a minute after being turned off to about 30 min.

As far as the dashboard, never heard of that or seen that issue.

thank you amg jay, is it possible my car Could be a lemon? Because neither the dealer or a reputable shop was unable to determine the issue with gauge coming on every time it releases air when my car is turned off, it sort of feels like the car itself wants to turn on

Your dealership should keep your car until they figure it out. Does it act up when they have it in their presence? Often, if the issue cannot be replicated for the dealer to see than there is not much they are able to do.

Now I would not go off on a limb to say your car is a lemon, it could just very much so be an electrical issue. Electrical issues in our vehicles are quite normal; however, I have yet to experience any on mine personally.

Maybe someone else can chime in with their .02.

May be it is a door sensor. You know when you open a door the dash comes alive.

That's quite plausible tbh. Might be worth checking out.

As for the rear suspension sound, that's normal and particularly once the car is either freshly unlocked or when the door opens. I'm not too sure about the dash though.

I agree with everyone else the rear sound is most likely the air suspension letting off a bit mine does that also on my 2016. As far as the lemon I doubt it should be something they can figure out, even I highly doubt anything can be done if it were a "lemon" as it's a 2010 and the issue could have come up anytime in the previous 6 years so they wouldn't cover it under that from what I know.

If it's a door pin issue then the driver should get warnings that the door is opening during the ride. If you're not getting those warnings it sounds like it something more deeply electronic like the body control unit
