Last Sunday my E63 S participated in a quarter mile private exotic car runway event in upstate New York. She killed all the exotics she faced. She even beat a turbo upgrade 997.1 Turbo S 2 of 4 times.

Her mods: Renntech full tune and Renntech sport mufflers. Stock cats. stock downpipes. Stock turbos. Stock intake.

I take it when you say renntech full tune, you mean the one above the intermediate one yes?

Really contemplating it my self , but deciding do i go tune and down pipes or not... hmm

Have you heard a castles down pipe car?

Here is my E63 S's best time slip for our Atco track rental day yesterday:

11.1136 at 127.56 mph.

That is fast and it is with the Renntech full tune (the one above the intermediate tune) and Renntech sport mufflers only.

At roll racing events I have seen a Renntech full tune and carless downpipe car go faster than mine. Yes the catless DPs make the car louder.

Nice run, how many passes did you make on the e63? How did the e63's with turbo upgrade do and your 911 tts? I'm sure you will upload some videos soon.

Of course it is going to be louder, but is it obnoxious loud?

We made countless passes numbering at least 50 or 60. Zero heat soak.

The CLS63s with turbo upgrade were somewhat faster than my E63 but could not beat my 991 Turbo S in roll races (of the race with the rear wheel drive one was decided by a foot or two in my favor. From a dig they were a lot slower as AMGs just do not launch well from a dig. They have traction but the computers won't let them get much above 2000 RPMs before launching clearly due to torque limitation issues protecting the MCT.

My 991 Turbo S was the fastest 911 of the day. Best ET was 10.316 and best trap was 132.09 mph. Car is so powerful from a launch that it struggled with traction as it did not have r compound tires or drag radials.
