Custom Painted Badges - Now What?
I liked how the custom painted wheels turned out so much that I had the same people paint the badges (to match the wheels). I never had them put back on when when the xpel stealth was applied.
But now comes the question. Does anyone have a trick for getting them aligned and the spacing correct so they can go back on the car?

See if you can find a friend or a dealership with the car in stock. Then trace over it with a piece of paper and measure the distance from other visual markers on the car to figure out your starting location.

I really like that. My "s" is looking pretty sad. How hard were they to get off?
I think in the template can be acquired from the dealer or anyone that has access to Startek

When I do this kind of work I make the top / bottom / both side with painter tape. When the badges are off and the clean the surface there is still a small dirt line on each letter which you can use as guide to stick them back.
Hopefully you cleaned the old tape off and put new mounting tape before painting them.

This has been a learning experience for sure!!! Anything that I should have "hopefully" done was likely not done. So we will see what is salvageable.

Start fresh. Buy new badging then have them painted. Re-using bagdes rarely works well in my experience as the double-sided tape is usually jacked up and trying add/replace new tape makes for uneven adhesion.
