Roll Racers please come in! Also Logged runs need input.

Had a bunch of roll races in Mexico last night. What do you guys use technique wise? Sport? Sport+? Manual? I was using Sport and down shifting to 3rd then waiting for 3rd honk and letting it shift. Is there a way to make it stay in Sport manual mode longer?

Also I have Question on a tuning aspect. I have my inter cooler pump on a switch Full on/Full off. If I have it on it makes way less boost but adds timing. If i let it get hot (120F or so) it makes more boost less timing. Anyway to have both? Will a tune fix that? Here is a couple graphs from the runs. Only mods are Catless/resonator removed, K&Ns. Modded intake. Every run was different not consistent at all. Gas was 93. May have had some bad gas?? Any input would be great!

Seems relatively consistent to me. That last run seems you let off and back on a couple of times and its reflected in the other parameters jumping around

Second to last run you let off kinda early, but not all the way off.

Also use sport plus for all roll runs. Your boost may seem lower (if it does) but you put out more power to the wheels

Sport +
Hold the downshift paddle at your pre roll speed
The car will automatically put you in the correct gear for maximum acceleration.

Thanks guys! I know the holding down trick but does that also keep it in manual mode longer? Also does traction in Sport or off work any better/worse?

I leave traction completely off, if you get some wheel spin it will completely bog out with the traction control on.

Just put traction control on sport handling mode. Especially if your AWD chances are from a rolling start you will not slip enough with car in sport handling mode for traction control to kick in and cut any power.

Agreed with leaving TC all the way off. I did some random tests and even with launching, there was a significant difference in how the car accelerates with traction control on or off.

Vbox seem to indicate better acceleration with traction control all the way off vs sport mode, this despite more wheelspin
