E63 wagon having a good time on the dyno

Eurocharged Orlando had a grand opening on Saturday, Jerry flew down, and a few board guys were there to partake in some dyno runs/tuning (Ralcbah and 6speeddave).
Car has Weistec plugs, Weistec filters, UPD filter spacer kit, and Eurocharged turbo back downpipes, and running 93octange. Original tune was a Weistec Stage 1 (and for a 91octange state, for whatever difference that may make). First dyno run was 531rwhp @ 4990rpm/578rwtq @4640rpm with those mods and that tune.

Jerry flashed a Stage 2 tune, and next pull was better...except it broke traction on the rollers ha! Someone had a video of the read end wiggling but of course that was the run I filmed from the front. 618rwhp/703rwtq @ 4590rpm, but the readout/graph was all over the place - hard to trust that.

For the 3rd pull, had a couple of guys sit in the back, and Jerry rolled into it it this time to be safe (which you can see on the graph). 629rwhp(!!!) @ 4870rpm /727rwtq @ 3840rpm.

Tried a 4th pull right after, but car was really hot at this point with 3 back to back to back runs. 552rwhp @ 4980rpm /735rwtq @ 2950rpm. Torque up! But lower than the TQ peak should be - assumption is IATs were pulling timing above 3000rpms.

Gave it a couple of minutes to cool off as much as possible so we could get in one last "clean-ish" pull. Jerry was happy with the horsepower and torque curves, along with the AFR - just what he was expecting. 594rwhp/747rwtq at 3960rpm.

End of the day: max numbers were 629rwhp @ 4870rpm and 747rwtq @ 3960rpm. Gotta say, pretty happy with that!

Awesomeness!! Was that Jerry's 93 tune or did any custom tuning take place?

This wagon is an absolute beast! Pretty sure those were highest numbers of the day...by far. Such a huge gain from the original tune to the current one. Crazy. Very well done

...Ands sounds like a monster too.

Nice day with some cool cars.

its a 93 octane stage 2 tune

im running the same tune on my 14 e63s sedan and ran on ECs dyno with SAE correction factor (so reads even a bit lower than STD here) and made 629awhp/777awtq. Tune, AFE filters, EC catless dp, plugs, 94 octane.

i was on 255 winter tires all around and was also losing traction on the dyno. They said with full traction it would of made even more lol.

Its an amazing tune for this engine no doubt.

You have dibs buddy

And yes, drives great on the street so far. I need to put the resonator back in because it is so damn loud with the downpipes and res delete, but no negatives on the street so far. Traction is....an issue lol. No more power needed (until I get drag radials or something at least ha)

Wow, that's incredible man. I really need to go under the knife soon! Car is literally at the dealer right now doing routine maintenance work though, so I'm still enjoying factory free work

Good decision actually ha - car put down great power and was fun, but the dyno day schedule was way behind (you know, like every dyno day in the history of man). Carl was booked for 2pm and didn't run til 645p, I was booked for 4pm and didn't run til about 815p.

I think they are trying to get another one together in a month or so. Try to get an early in the day slot and youll be good

Damn, that's one badass wagon, sick numbers. I think the M157 is going to be missed.

Agreed. +700ft/lbs at the wheel before 3k rpm is a beautiful thing!
