What I would like to see is the drift/RWD mode has an option to have traction control "on" instead of "off only" so the mode can be used for daily driving.

IMO, too many badges on this new car.

The more I see, the more I like with this car.

Gray Mango is badass and looks sinister, but I can't help but worry how it will age with color style changes. 3-5 years when the fade shifts, what's the effect on resale?

Early reviews are very positive and while almost everything about the car is pretty appealing I'm still not sold on that rear end. Way too bland, will have to see it in real life to make a proper judgement.

The black trim exterior option should be standard, and the chrome should be the option. I would make it difficult to even order the chrome. Geez that chrome trim is just too wide and big! Same as the c63.

I agree... everything except for the exhaust tips, I still like the look of the chrome exhaust tips better than all black. The tend to get lost if they are all black.

Curious to know if Benz will figure out how to bring adaptive led lighting to the w213 in the USA

I talked to a tech that just went through the W213 E-Class technical training and he conformed that the U.S. market got the Multibeam LED headlamps (84 individually controlled LEDs). He said that the instructor told him that there is a good chance that the E63 will get the 1000 individual LEDs.

He confirmed that this video accurately covers the feature that the U.S. market got:

wow... better than the SLS black series and amg gtr... yeah not likely but clearly he likes the new e63S and perhaps has never driven the sls or the gtr, either way I'm excited to get this car

Yeah, it seems like MB sedan equates with subdued rear end... Even the S-Class falls into that category:





I'll probably leave the door open for the E63 coupe, just in case it is a complete more agressive superset of the sedan.

Honestly, I can't imagine that given the choice, anyone buying an AMG would say "yeah, I like the sedan's rear end better."

Peter I donno man. Maybe think twice before upgrading and just hang on to the w212 for one more generation.

I feel like I'm just gonna keep the "old" outdated model until the next one comes out. Looks great from any angle and is a flat out beast at the same time.

Ultimately, it will be about seeing it in person and driving it. I think the new interior goes a long way... that was my only hold up with the W212. But there is something exciting about the 4MATIC+ compared to a fixed 33/67 torque split.
