When will order banks open for e63s
I have my name on a list for the E63. The lease on current f80 M3 ends in August. Will we be seeing the E63s spring/mid summer/fall. Hoping the timing works out.

For North America, my SA was told sedan will be here around late June (at least for Canada); wagon around mid September (again for Canada). For US, it could be very similar or the same.
Allocation has been opened for awhile already (Dec 2016) and final pricing should be out sometimes in mid to late April.

Edition One
Will most of the first orders be the edition one? Or are they released pretty much along with the rest of the non-edition one builds?
I like the looks of the edition one, but I've read on the PL that it won't have the driver's assistance package available. So no dystronic which is a deal breaker for me. Granted that was on the UK build site, so maybe it's different for the US? We'll see.

Order banks are open. If anyone needs help with allocation, just let me know! The past couple of weeks has generated a lot of excitement for this car. I think it's going to be something special. Mercedes did a good job warming up the crowd with the new C63 and the E-Class has an equally loyal following, so it should be a success.

Also - Don't forget to complain somewhere up the food chain about how friggin boring the interior and exterior choices are! If we all just pay up and cave in going custom they have no real feedback about how ****ty their palette is haha.

I have read your input from the other thread (which is very informative indeed). I have asked my dealer here in Canada and he said he needs to ask MB Canada (who in turn may have to ask MB Germany) ... as of today, I am still waiting for my SA for words.
I do have to say the E63 ordering guide for colors and seating are very bland.

long story short. . . All MBs can. Use the search for "Designo" related threads. Pricing isn't released yet and you have to be patient with dealers who might not know the ins and outs of the process.

Can you order the edition one in any color other than the matte black? I love the interior with the yellow stitching but I really, really don't like matte black.

The configurator on the German site allows for 297 Selenite Grey Magno also (not sure if that will be the case in the U.S.).

It looks like 213 will be available in the US and they'll all be Night Black Magno.
On the ordering guide it's not showing it included with the Edition 1. If it does end up being included at release, it would be code Q04, option 23P. That's odd because I feel like it should.

Actually - rather than Magno, I would probably get a standard metallic grey color and then wrap it with Xpel Stealth or one of the other satin films this time around since I'm going to buy the car. You'd get the same exact effect and you wouldn't have to worry about minor scratches or anything. It would only be slightly more expensive to wrap the car in the film, and then if you ever do get sick of the matte look you can just pull it off and go full on gloss like a boss.
