so you dropped 30mm in the front and 20mm on the rear? Are you on spacers? My kit is on order from Rob with 10/15 mm spacers and I am worried a little about rubbing but am only going with the 20mm drop front and back.

Didn't get spacers yet since I'm gonna be putting rims on it. I would wait to get the spacers and measure it out before getting them. If you go to h&r website they have a guide to measuring the gap.

I would think spacers would be no problem on this car as the wheels looked quite tucked in stock??? even a 10 mm spacer would rub you think?

does this lowering kit push the wheels out as well or just the same only lower?

A drop is always going to bring the wheels out a little in terms of appearance. I was told from more than a few though that a 10 / 15 spacer offset on the stock wheels would not be a problem with the KW kit so we shall see. The wheels are really tucked in stock form.

With stock wheels you will be fine with those spacers slammed. The MBZ offsets are very conservative indeed.

Thanks. I thought you had that set up at one time. I knew the 5 / 10 spacers worked on a 20mm drop on the stock 19s per ajag's set up. Hopefully should get my kit anyday now.

Agreed.
The Eibach, errr....KW links work very well on the rear suspension.

Seems like all the comments have been really positive. Has anyone had any problems? Just want to know before I pull the trigger on this kit for my E63. Thanks

Thanks Vic for pointing me to this thread.

Has anyone put this CLS63 Kit onto a 2012 W212 E63 yet? Anyone have pics of such with the stock 19's?

Thanks
Russell

Just picked up my 2nd set of this product from Rob at Vivid... great price, great service and delivered when promised.

I recommend the product too if you intend on dropping the car (E63 or CLS63 with the steel front springs). KW makes a fantastic suspension.

Just got in another 10 sets of the H.A.S. lowering systems. For anyone that was waiting please just give me a shout.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Can't say enough good things about this mod and customer service from Rob. If you are on the fence go ahead and buy one -- you won't regret it.

What tire / wheel sizes are working without rubbing? I'm definitely considering this mod, but I don't want to have wheel and tire headaches

20x9 20x10.5/11 tires 245/30/20 rear 295/25/20 or 305/25/20.

I have 21's on currently and doesn't rub anymore but had to pull back the fender liner slightly.

does anyone know if Mercedes would install these for you or would I need to go to another shop? anyone have any issues with these coil overs and spacers with stock wheels?

I really want to stick with stock wheels this time as it always seems to turn into a headache putting on aftermarket wheels.

I am running the forged 19s with 15 mm spacers on the rear and 10 mm on the front. No problem with rubbing. Going to go with 20s shortly 20x9 and 20x11, which a bunch of people run on this forum with the kw kit with no problem.

Your dealer will be able to do it, just ask for the biggest gear head motorcross guy they have in the back to do the work. I went with my local tuning shop just because they love this **** as much as I do not becuase I thought it coudn't be done at a dealer or a wheel shop.

just installed my KW kit today, very easy straight forward install, the whole job took me 1.5-2hrs and I was taking my time, if you can pull your front struts and have access to a spring compressor then that's all you need for the front, the links for the back just snap in, very well designed kit and now my car has a perfect stance

Yeah the rear looks great. Really gives the car a better look. Glad they got installed.

not the lowest but close, I want to drive it a little to let the suspension settle and then I will make the fine tunning adjustments on the front but I think I'm pretty close to where I want to be with the height in the front, I'll take some better pics tomorrow and then on Tuesday my correct wheel spacers will be here and I'll post some more pics with the spacers on and the wheels pushed out wide, thanks for the compliment
