Video CLS63 Vs GT2 rematch

Hi everyone as promised this is the progress of my project new exhaust, sport filters and a retune. Feed back will be helpful, my thanks to Digi-Tec and GAD-Motors who transformed my car to what it is.

Open the can of Whooooppp Arse!!!

Damn what an improvement! amazing. I honestly think if you line them up from a Dig the CLS will put bus lenghts on the GT2.

You know we tried few times one of them was from a rolling 15mph and both cars were neck to neck but at higher speeds the CLS starts to pull away, even when given the advantage to the GT2 the CLS will start to close the gap when I had the camera man with me, but as soon as the camera man took a seat in the GT2 the table turned, and all the runs had the same outcome, both those videos are the best fair starts we had out of our testing. The guys haven't reached the limits of the car, we still need to put her on the dyno.

Great video and sick improvements front the last ones...if I remember correctly the GT2 was in another time zone in the very first vid and still pulled away pretty good in the 2nd.
Also - Are you saying that the weight of the camera man effected the GT2 more than the CLS?

What tires are you running and what size? I'm just got my 218 ECU tuned by Renntech and I feel like Im losing a full second to wheel spin. Most are recommending Michelin SS but right now I just can't get a good time off a dig.

Amazing! Still running the stock clutch or was it upgraded as part of the 'make over' ?

Thanks, yes the camera man effected it as u can see, he is about 95kg big guy so if wherever he is going to sit it would be An advantage to the other car, I am running on Pirelli PZero Trofeo 265/35ZR19 they grip real good and would be a perfect fit on ur OEM wheels.

Ken
The gear is holding on just fine remember bigger turbos less torque, but we are going to upgrade it for the next stage just so we can pull the torque limit over with higher boost

....amazing results really!

but i find it hard to belive the difference in race 1 vs 2 was just due to the camera man alone....that's just too much, when considering its rolling speeds

i dont know just what i felt, but mashalah man am very happy for you and what you have achived

Thank you for sharing

Yeah true I would have thought the same way but u have to do the math, race one CLS is 95kg heavier, race two GT2 is 95kg heavier and the CLS is 95kg lighter some math bro makes sense.

Ali is a also in that range but he isn't into making videos, and that day he had enough with trial runs making sure we are in the safe zone numbers no knocking air temperature boost and so on, my thanks go to his efforts and hard work gone in my car, it's more challenging when working with new parts custom made for you, but the 3" straight pipes with the Brabus exhaust makes some serious noise I will put a video up shortly

Wallah bro I just ran into a GTR 30 minutes ago and smoked him GTRs are powerful and you can take them to insane levels but in the end you have more luxury in a Mercedes

I just picked up a gtr and interior is better in the 12's but nothing like the benz. I love mercedes for quality.

Dbason, need to keep posting videos. This is what I look for now. I have a similar valvetronic exhaust and downpipes and for some reason with mine is much quieter. I"ll get a video up next week.

Mine used to be much quieter last week but after going to 3" deleted cats the car just went to a different sound mood.
