Photos -- Tint Changed the Whole Look of Lunar Blue CLS 63

Got 35% tint all around and detailing done this week and it is really making the lunar blue paint pop now. Finally took some better pictures. Let me know what you think. BTW, when I try to post picture urls in a post they show up as question marks. How do I fix this?

You can really see the tint in this one. Got a drop + spacers, markers, tint, res delete done now. Only thing left on the short list is wheels + bigger tires then tune.

Can definitely see more in the last picture. I would have expected the window tint to be a must on a white car but on the blue one, I'm surprised to see how it brings everything together. Mine will be black so I was not thinking tinting the windows more than they are but now that I see yours, maybe I'm wrong...

Yeah, I was surprised too. I think with all the chrome the tint is a nice transition between body paint color and the wheels/tires and other black accents. You definitely should get it done on your black car.

Here is a picture of the rear windshield in high sun where it really makes a difference given the steep slope of the cls rear windshield.

I tint all my cars--- since you are getting black here is a black view (sorry for the thread jack)

I love the blue, but that 35% looks awfully light for being 35%. maybe since its under direct sunlight.

Never an issue man. Everyone's comments are allways valued. You have been down this road faster than most with these mods to this car but it is one of those things that once you see it for yourself you just need to share it especially if it looks on point and I think tint on this car looks good with any color. BTW, your ride does look sick.

Thanks! The tint is hard to capture in photos. It may be some reflection on the camera lens too. Here is another version of that shot that is a little truer I think as to the rear tint. I would not go darker.

I think it looks great on the lunar blue and has tied everything together, the car is a total head turner, on a black car like Vic's 20% works but on other colors I prefer the 35% to each his own

That blue tiny actually makes it look kinda clean. I've been thinking of tinting the windshield either 50% or 35%. Just worried it may screw with some electronics in the rear view if any.

I assume it is just film. Asher and I just took our cars to this local guy that has been doing tint forever and that is all he does. They are typcially the best. He gives a lifetime warranty.

I assume you mean back vinyl wrap around all the chrome accents. I think I would only do this only if I powedercoated my rims black or bought black rims but maybe it would look good with the stock color rims too. If you get yours done please post some pictures so I can get an idea of what it looks like.

See attached....I rushed this together real fast and I know it sucks but this is what I would do. Personal choice though...love the blue.

Here is a better shot of mine with the chrome wrapped/wheel and badges done.

Vis do you ever get stopped in CA for the 20% .. I know cops are cracking down on people here in Miami for legal tint.

thanks! That really does help give me a idea what the black out option would look like. Guess I will have to decide for sure in a few months once I order new wheels.
