Help Choose - 2015 E63 S 4m or 2012 CLS 63?

I know I know, apples and mangoes.

Just need some opinions please. Money is always a concern but cud spend more for the right 2nd car.

Both have similar options. Cls is pp, 40k kms, very good condition, ELW to 2018. E63 is demo, 1 month old, mint of course. Have had 2 E63s and wanted a cls but most cpo' are in poor condition. Both are with an MB dealer.

E63 is $31k more. Actual prices aren't necessary but suffice to say both are very good deals in my local area.

Thoughts? Opinions? I'm going to post this on W212 section as well. If I can.

Cheers and thanks. Share any opinion pls!

$31k difference? I'm biased, but the CLS is a much better looking vehicle if you can deal w/ the back seats.

I have 2 kids under 4 yrs old and the CLS is again seeming like a no brainer once I ditch my Jeep.

If those are the only options your looking at them IMHO if I had the money I would go for cls63 and mod it a little, but if your open to other options look into getting a c63 right how you can get a 2012 for like 40k fully loaded with PP then you can put a blower on it.
Just my 2cents

Performance isn't really the same in a straight line stock for stock the e63 S will win due to the AWD I think people have gotten a 0-60 in like 3.2 seconds, is the 31k justifiable though, you can get the cls63, get a tune from EC if you want and take it to 643hp and 715tq i

The tune is like 3k I think but it gives an extra 100hp, but if you want to keep, your car stock that's fine I think the cls63 is more of a head turner as well

3.2 vs 4.0 or whatever...i guess makes a difference if u are doing runway events or drag...for every day life..no differnce..each their own....and yes obviously a tune can fix everything

Def no concerns about the rear seats as they are never used - other than the suit coat hanger and briefcase! and No need for the 4M as its not a dd in the winters as we have an Jeep SRT.

Tried a C63 but found them too small/go-cart like ride so like some of the comfort.

Straight line speed, etc - dont track it so not a concern - other than liking a fast ride that sounds awesome!

The prob has been finding a CPO that hasnt been abused. Will need to look at the CLS carefully and review the Star report. Recently backed out of one where all rims were curbed, bellows needed replacing, badges were loose, etc.

Thanks for all the opinions. Will keep you posted!

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
Both are great cars, but in this case & between these two - the E63 is not worth 31k more, even if it is 3 years newer!!
CLS all the way....

I'd assume Canada is no different, but there's something to be said for the rarity of the CLS compared to the E. I'd have to think that there's 10 E's on the road for every CLS. In certain parts of the country I'm sure it's different, but overall the CLS is still pretty rare.
