Cls63 Amg help tires

Hi guys
I'm looking for tires for my cls63 amg 2012 the car has 678whp and 816 wtrq I'm wondering what tires could gripp with that much power I have the 19 inch wheels and 20 inch set of vossens I can even buy 2 18 just for the back. Idid my research for sizes for the 18 s 285 35 18.
my question is what drag radials would gripp the most?
Did any one try installing 305 wide tires on a cls with no problem when the car lower down when parked?
thank you

I have a 305 tire and Im lowered no problems. 305 tire isnt going to help much I still spin like crazy with only a tune and filters. If you want something for the track I would get two 18"s you want as much sidewall as possible at the track for grip. A set of 18 inch drag radials will be better than any 20's and you have a lot more options in 18. Do you mind posting a list of mods to your car?

Weistec
ecu
air filter
downpipe
spark plugs

I thought of getting 18 inches the 305 siz I was worried about the have pirelli 295 30 19 and they are large almost no space between the tire and the back fender that why I'm not sure if 305 will be too wide. What the 305 brand u using?

Do they gripp? I do go to the strip in weekends and I want the car to grip! Well as much as possible I heard that 20 inch won't leave enough side wall for tires to grip?

NO! they do not grip! that is my point you will want 18 for the track the bigger sidewall helps with traction Maybe find some older 18" Amg wheels and mount 2 drag radials for the track. The only everyday driver tire that will give you any grip will be Michelin Pilot Super Sport but even those will spin. Our cars make so much torque man its hard with RWD under 60.
