CLS on new Carlsson wheel 1/12 Brilliant Edition
Hello!
Just received some nice photos of a CLS in Carlsson look with brandnew Carlsson wheels 1/12 BE in 19'. I believe this monobloc discwheel is matching perfectly to the silhouette of the CLS, it has a decent and subtle styling...I am sure there are many people out there who rather prefer this kinda design instead of completely overdressed trendy wheels, which will be forgotten again after 1 year.
I don't know if they are already on sale in the U.S. but in Germany Carlsson has started the sale on this new wheel some weeks ago.
Maybe any dealer here knows more about availability status for the U.S.?
Ciao!

no no no no no no no no no and no.
Not my taste at all. I have not seen anything come out of Carlsson in a long time that I like. Either the taste of German enthusiasts are VERY different (and that is certainly OK) than ours or Carlsson is going to be out of business soon if they stick with their current design directions.

Just nappy. Now there is a word from the past that describes these wheels perfectly. Think I saw these on an used 87' Ford Escort a few years back. Carlsson apparently was "inspired" by a car on Autotrader.com

god those are disgusting. yes, they look like they are off the old school benzes from the 80s and god, they are worst than the stock rims from the recent Lexus SC430. heck, those sc430 rims are better than these.
now why in the hell would someone put those on a CLS55?!??! is it me or isn't the stock rims way better than these??!?

sorry 350, not 55. we're in the 55 message board thread, so i initially thought it was a 55. I agree that the 350/500 rims are not as great as the 55, but 55 stock rims are not half bad. and sorry, but i think everyone here would agree that the stock rims are way better than these sorry-a** Carlsson rims that are FUGLY. worst, ppl will look at you and laugh that someone paid $$$ for these ugly carlsson's and they're worst than stock.
