21s on a CLS55 AMG

Just picked up a sweet 06 CLS55 AMG and got a good deal on a set of HREs. Hoping they fit but not too sure. They are 21s with 245/35 front and 285/30 rear Pzeros. Think they came off an S63 but not sure. Havent mounted yet and others seem to think they wont work or will destroy ride. Any experience with these here? First post...any advice appreciated. Roads are very smooth, country paved surface. Not many potholes. Wont be a daily driver, maybe 5000 miles/yr.

The tweener wheels. Its between the 20 & 22 inch. Any how... there is a fella on the forum here by the name of "Khelawnb: who has a set of 21 inch lowerharts on his CLS. Look him up. Im not sure of any one else running 21s, but I could be wrong. To give you an idea on a 20 inch setup... 20x9-255/30/20 Front and 20x11-305/25/20 Rear. Not sure about 21's, but might be close

I think the fronts may be too narrow with 245s and the rears may be too tall with 285/30s. Like CakeDaddy states, my 20s also run on 255/30s front and 305/25 rear.

Those tires are tall for the CLS, and narrow. The widths and specs are going to be conservative for a CLS, since they were built for an S-Class (this means they will be be sunken in from the fender edge).

Whats the size on the front and the rear of those 21's ?

I went down to a 20 inch wheel. Way more tire options. I already have the lowering module so I will slam her nice and low.

You probably got a good deal, but the CLS looks so much better with the agressive fitment. Good luck with it.
