tire pressure sensors

Just put my new rims on my cls 55. The rims do have sensors in them. Do i have to reset computer for car to pick up new sensors. If so when i put the winter wheels back on will i have to do the same

Depends on the year and model of the car... on my CL65 (2005) the service tech had to reset the computer when I got new sensors. Now if the sensors were the same ones used in a previous set of wheels that might be different.

Yes it's good habit to reset them. On my '07 CLS63 it takes 10 seconds at most to reset them through the settings menu. For that matter, EVERY time you add air to the tires you should be resetting through the steering wheel controls.

You shouldn't have any errors unless one of the tires drops below the minimum psi, but on a couple occasions I've gotten the warning and all 4 tires were within spec (because I didn't reset after summer/winter wheel change).
