I searched on here and Google, but only found a couple of mentions of this. One thread even mentioned there was a TSB for it, but I couldnt find it.

When I ride over rough/uneven pavement mostly, or certain audio sources/songs, i can hear a buzzing coming from the door area, I think near the door handle. I dont think its the B pillar buzz that people have experienced, I moved my seatbelt adjuster a little bit and that seemed to stop that. If I tap on the door in that general area hard enough I can hear it, and i cant replicate it on the passenger side.

Is there any one specific thing I can address, or could things in the door just be coming loose and need tightening?

I had a similar rattle, found a spot weld had separated. Put a shim in to prevent the rattle.

Thanks man, hopefully mine is that same kind of easy fix. I found the instructions for removing the door panel, it doesnt seem all that complicated.

So did a little more diagnosing today, and not sure if this was the same for you guys, but I noticed this rattle doesnt happen unless the window is fully up. If it is in any other position, there is no rattle, whether I hit the door a little, drive over the reflectors in the road, uneven pavement, whatever, its gone. Its not until the window is up all the way that the rattle returns.

Which goes against everything I understand about windows, because you would think with the window up, its secured in the most possible locations. But I suppose it would be the thing that lifts up the motor that is making the noise.

johnson, was that weld that came loose for you anything window related?
