looking to get back into a CLS... should I get a 55 or a 63?
Hey guys, I sold my CLS55 a few years ago, have had a few cars since then. Kinda miss the CLS, very unique looking car. I've started looking around and found two cars for sale...
Car #1 is a 2006 CLS55 with 70k miles. looks to have all options, not sure I haven't looked at it yet. Gray color with black interior.
Car #2 is a 2007 CLS63 with almost 100k miles on it. Not sure what the color is called, I'm not a huge fan of it. Haven't seen it in person though.
I know the CLS55 is much more mod friendly, I had a lot of stuff done to my last one, it was putting down around 500whp. I don't really want to get into modding another one all over again. Would you guys suggest I go with a 63 this time?
55 all the Way I mean it has less miles then the 63 and much less problems and cheaper to maintain. A brake job and headbolts replacement on a 63 (which is quite common) will put you out of commission right away, while the 55 is solid the only thing you really have to worry at that mileage is the Crapmatic Suspension.
