Went to the junkyard to check out different lettering. This is from the rear trunk badging of a Ford Focus.

#FordPower

Bought 3, me and my buddies are all rebadging our AMG's.

You should do it!

Finally did it. I went a slightly different route than you, and here are the results...

Note: I have always gone for a more subtle approach

So update...

The LSD was completed about a month ago. Went with WaveTrack, and it works really well. Car seems to handle the supercharger power much better. Especially in second and third gear. First with 30-40% power it just spins evenly with no step-out.

Only took a bit of filing to get it to fit. Drag times are the same though... too much wheel spin on the 20" wheels from launch. Looking to get 18" wheels and NT05's soon and head back to the track to see if I can get it to bite and go!

That being said, it runs nearly dead to nuts with a stock 707hp hellcat from a 40 roll

(I still think they sand-bag their numbers)

In the mean time the car is again back in the shop getting the Rev Match upgrade from Weistec delivered. Dropped it off on the 9th to ship out the ECU/TCU... it's taking forever!

But they said they'll also increase the up shifting speed as well. Looking in their specs for the SLS, there's about a 2/10 second gain in up shift speeds. Always felt a bit sluggish in that department.

Also getting the Weistec oversized Transmission Pan put in while I'm at it. She's an old car, so doing all I can to get longevity out of her with this new power.

So yea, I'll get a video up of the rev matching in action once it gets back!

So sad news today… It looks like the rev matching upgrade is not available for my car which is weird because it's listed for the 722.9 transmission which my car has. Wish I would've known this a couple of weeks ago before I got all excited. They say that there's a chance if they try to get it to flash that it can damage the transmission, so they're not going to try. However because of the long time delay and the misinformation, my local Mercedes shop and Weistec are both taking care of me by eating the cost on the Weistec transmission pan. I'll only be paying for the labor and fluid. So win there. (Littleton Mercedes in Colorado, Bill Booras is my service manager, Luke Driscoll is my mechanic... both great guys.)

Sets a precedent for what good service really is though. When something goes wrong, both of them are still taking care of the customer. While it's unfortunate because I really wanted that rev match mod, they'll both still have my future business.
