Luke, need help with wheels selection for C32

Luke, first of all, Congrat!!!
I am looking at the wheels for C32 at tirerack, thinking about going 18" multi piece. The choices are AMG style III, ssr gt3 and Speedline2211. I am curious about the Speedline, it looks very promising from the introduction on the webpage, would you tell me more about that wheel comparing to AMG style III. How they are made and which one is lighter and stronger?

Thank you very much.

The SSR GT3 should be the lightest of the three because it is forged. AMG wheels always have one of the best quality around. Dont know much on Speedline, better leave this for Luke to answer. Have you ever considered the AMG 18" Style IV multi-piece? They will look VERY aggressive on a C32!!

silvaC32, that is percisely what I am thinking, haha.. OZracing will be nice but expensive!! From Luke's reply, I think the AMG wheels are the weakest and heaviest among the group, while the GT3 is the best. The only thing is holding me back is that I want to keep the AMG look, this will take me a while to decide. Thank you for your replies.

the Styling IV multi-piece wheel is designed for a w211 or w230 chassis vehicle and will not fit a W203 correctly.

Although I have heard of some 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 versions in Europe which haven't made it over here yet for the W203 chassis....

Luke: The Style IV do not have any multi-piece in 18" for the W211 and R230. Only for W203/209. The ones that you're talking about is 19" (19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for W211) and (19x8.5 and 19x10 for R230).
