Vossen Wheel strength
Thinking about picking up some Vossen wheels has anyone had any issues with them being significantly softer or more prone to bending than the stock rims? I know forged is the way to go, but I'm not looking to spend $6k.
Thanks

Well, not all forged wheels cost 6k.
Vossen marketing people work very hard to establish reputation and a strong online presence. They get defensive pretty quick when people discuss their product.
Expensive cast wheels, made in Taiwan. They are(or were) working on a line of forged wheels.
I believe none of their models are TUV certified.

I guess it depends on your location. You may be able to get away with it, if the roads in your area aren't that bad. I would figure their wheels aren't bad enough that it'll just fall apart from underneath you from regular driving.

We have sold numerous sets of their wheels. Great styling, good quality and pretty strong. good for daily driving, street cruising etc...

Well,
All I can say is that my experience as been quite good. And I have 20" on a 211. The fit was super precise (I didn't think they were going to work, but they fit perfectly), they have been more than reasonably true, and not one finish problem. I'm sure there are better wheels out there, but simply saying a wheel is better because it's forged is silly. Hitting curbs, potholes, etc. while playing boy racer is going to result in broken or bent wheels, period.
