Rear tires for E350 RWD

My 2011 E350 RWD sedan is currently wearing staggered 245/40R18 265/35R18 Continental ContiProContact all-season tires. The fronts still have plenty of tread but the rears are just about done.

Since replacement 265 Continentals cost almost $287/each on Tire Rack and have pretty awful ratings, I'm thinking of replacing the rears with a Max Performance rated summer tire instead.

So far I've considered:

1) Hankook V12 evo2 for $171/tire
2) Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position for $194/tire.

Other factors:

1) Front to rear rotation is a non-issue because of stagger.

2) I live in an area where it hardly ever rains, and snow doesn't exist.

3) Comfort and treadwear are top priorities. Dry performance is close behind. Wet performance just needs to be reasonable.

4) I'm on a budget. Unless a $200+ tire is LOT better than a cheaper option, I'm willing to go with the cheaper. Bang for buck is key. Otherwise I'd just get Michelin PSS and be done with it.

Thoughts?
