Fitting New OEM Rims on classic issue
Hi Guys,
Hello from South Africa!!!
I joined this site to get some advice on a problem I am having from professionals
I am the proud owner of a '74 W114 280.. I have redone the interior and had it completly resprayed so shes looking very smart..
The problem I am having is that I bought CLK Oem rims for her.. I had to have spacers made for the back as the tyre touched the body, fine back sorted..
The problem I am having is when I fit the wheel it touches the arm, now I need spacers for the front aswell but it seems like i cannot have spacers made because the lip is only 5mm and then there is a step down from the lip and then you get the grease cap...
I am out of ideas can anyone help..??? Please excuse the grammer etc. English my second language.
thanking you in advance
Pierre
