C63 (204) rims on 2016 C Class
I would like to put on W204 C63 amg rims on a 2016 C450. The C63 wheels are slightly wider, but have the same offset. Will I be able to put on 235/255 tires on the C450 without rubbing issues? The tires would sit 5mm closer to the suspension and 5m closer to the fenders both front & rear. It seems like a small difference, but I would like to be sure.
C450
19" wheels, 7.5" front ET 44, 225/40-19 (18's 225/45-18, same width & offset)
19" wheels, 8.5" front ET 54, 245/35-19 (18's 245/40-18, same width & offset)
C63
18" wheels, 8" front ET 44, 235/40-18
18" wheels, 9" front ET 54, 255/35-18
Would these easily work? My other option would be E350 amg wheels with 45/48mm offset, but I prefer the look of the C63s wheels. Thank you

It won't work. I was considering this before the c450's offset was reported to be 33mm versus 44mm. Other Mercedes wheels may work, however. Later model CLS550 and SL550 have similar offsets, low in the front & high in the back. I found 18" SL550 wheels that I think may work, being 8.5" wide in front with a 35.5 offset, and 9.5" wide in the rear with a 47 offset. The SL550 also has the same size rotor, 14.2", as the C450.
I would have preferred only stepping up .5" in width instead a full inch, but I don't think are take-off options. I am hoping to know next week from my dealer if the wheel will work as well as what the optimal tire widths. There are also 19" options which may be more forgiving, but I want to go with an 18" setup.
