Meaning of the rim numbers and letters

Hi everyone,

My MB has rims marked with the part number: A 211 401 33 02.
However, I also found other sets of permanent numbers printed on the inner rim: 8Jx16H2.
Please see attached one picture for your convenience.

Can anyone decipher them for me, please? Or, at least direct me to some source?

I presume that “16” stands for the diameter of the rim in inches. What about the other numbers and letters?

Thank you,
Pitek

All I can confirm is the 211 401 33 02 is the MB part number for your five spoke 16 inch rim. The rim is also available in 17 inch and narrower tires for numerous models.

I am sure that if you visit a tire shop they can decipher the 8J and H2 and EX36
