Bribery to get to head of the line?

Does anyone else find it aggravating when someone offers additional money if you renege on your promise to a buyer?

I'm selling some stuff online and the first person to answer stated, "the money is on the way!". Okay, I'm good with that. I'll give it a few days to see if he comes through. A later respondent to my ad just offered me a significant chunk of change if I would refuse to sell to the first person and instead sell to him. This offends me as I would be selling out my integrity by screwing over the first person.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

And....the other inquiry was from a scammer. God, some of those scammers are stupid. Send me a check for $1600, tell me to cash it, and send the extra $1400 back to him? Sure thing, buddy. I'll get right on that.

Eventually I'm gonna get a real offer on these Michelin Pilot Super Sports for the front wheels....
