I guess we will try this again. Will they fit a W211 E55 and clear the brakes. What were they originally made for?

They were originally made for the w203 C Class and W211 E Class.
They will also fit the W210 E Class. For any other fitment questions, PM me, as these wheels fit various MB models.

In terms of the w211 E55, I have asked representatives for Lexion, and I have been told that they will clear. BUT, just to be on the safe side, please measure the Caliper Overhang Distance (part "A"; distance from the hub surface to the outer surface of the caliper) shown in the picture below for the E55, and I will verify if they will fit. This way, I can be 100% sure and not just 95% sure.
