C-Class Cabriolet

With much fanfare, the 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class Cabriolet made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier today, and with its unveiling, the C-Class family of sedans, coupes, and now convertibles is finally complete.

In what seems to be one of the most playful and “youth-oriented” designs ever by the three-pointed star, the Cabriolet model accentuates the C-Class’s sleek profile and robust rear-end to create a fresh, clean, and airy design that will appeal to a broad range of consumers.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will be available as the C300 in rwd or 4matic versions, which will feature a turbocharged inline-4 engine with an output of 241 horsepower, while the also unveiled and highly anticipated, C43 AMG Cabriolet will feature a 362-horsepower, 6-cylinder engine.

Regardless of which model you choose, the now iconic “twilight” grille will be standard, as is the premium cloth soft-top, air scarf, and a 9-speed automatic 9G-Gtronic transmission. Some anti-fatigue, semi-autonomous driving systems are included standard, but the majority of cutting edge technology systems are available as optional packages, which is to be expected.

The 2017 Mercedes Benz C-Class Cabriolet goes on sale in the U.S. this summer, while the AMG version will be pushed back until fall.
