MotorTrend Spies More of the CLS

Work at Mercedes-Benz on the forthcoming CLS wagon is progressing nicely, if these spy shots from MotorTrend are anything to go by. Either they’re running out of camouflage to cover that bodacious backside, or they’re nearly ready to release the car to the masses. Which is great, because the car looks as good as the 2010 concept.

The wagon will be built in the same assembly line as the coupe, so we expect they’ll have the same power train as the CLS550. If we’re lucky, it might also be available in the hotted-up C63 AMG variant. Unlike the coupe, you’ll be able to stuff enough baggage for at least four people, their pets, and their pets pets in the colossal trunk area.
