This car’s 5.6-liter biturbo V8 and its 1,000 horses lead an easy life: they only have 2,381 pounds to propel, which means this car is fast when those horses get a chance to work hard … 268 mph is the top speed, making the C1000 one mph faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Acceleration from a standstill to 60 mph arrives in 3.2 seconds; 125 mph arrives in 8.1 seconds.

The C1000 originally cost the UAE businessman about $3.5 million. RK Motors is auctioning this vehicle in Charlotte, North Carolina on November 2 where they expect it to fetch up to $1.3 million … a bargain for the fastest car in the world.
