AMG C63S Shows BMW M4s How to Do a Proper Burnout

By -

AMG C63S puts on a show for the camera and ‘smokes’ the competition. BMW M-Series owners, take notes.

V8 engines and burnouts go together well, and who can resist a good tire smoking when you’re joyriding through the canyons with your buddies in an AMG? Best buddies who just so happen to have rival BMWs.

The video by YouTuber Hani Al Azzabi is short, sweet and to the point. Blacked out in matte paint, this C63S AMG lines up on an empty canyon road, and gets to work on roasting some rubber. Hear the engine roar up in RPM’s and billowing smoke begins. After a couple of bounces off the rev limiter for good measure, the bar had been set for a few other cars to try and beat.

AMG burning out

Next up comes a blue BMW M4. Now, we respect the M4 for what it is, but this burnout was all noise and no show. Maybe it would have been better if it was a V8 M4. Who knows, but either way the driver must have forgotten to turn off the traction control because it embarrassingly lurches forward two times before pausing for a moment to press the fun button. After waiting, the M4 just spools up the back tires and then leaves. Barely a smoke show at all. Better luck next time.

We do get a small bonus at the end of the video showing an Austin Yellow M4 having a go. The results aren’t much better than the other BMW. To us, that means AMG remains the burnout king!
