Nice try, C-Class. Your camo, two different wheels, and super-weird cartoon body guard with checkered pants, a creepy mustache, and a swirl badge aren’t throwing us off. We know exactly what you are: the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet, the big brother of the Mercedes-AMG C43 Cabriolet that was just spotted in much more subtle guise.

As previously explained, the C-Class hasn’t had a convertible version before. Now it will have two. The C43 will likely get an AMG-tuned V6 that serves as a third option between the full-on brute and the basic model. The C63 is going to get the biturbo AMG V8. If it uses the same engine as the Coupe, it’ll be a 4.0-liter that puts out 476 horsepower (the S has 503) and shoots to 60 in four-seconds flat.

There are also a decent amount of noticeable differences to the exterior. Simply and aptly, it looks like a car ready to handle more power. It’s lower, it’s wider, its vents are shaped differently, and it has different wheels and tires. This will surely become a new summer staple.
