Bold New Mercedes V Brings Style, Class
Mercedes-Benz has unleashed its latest line-up of V class cargo and passenger vans featuring a bold new nose and a fresh cabin
Mercedes-Benz has unleashed its latest line-up of V class cargo and passenger vans featuring a bold new nose and a fresh cabin with a redesigned instrument panel and latest MBUX tech. The diverse new line-up ranges from the standard version to the electric EQV to the Marco Polo camper van (below).
Sharper V Class Moves Upmarket
While it will not come to the ‘States, the V Class is big news all around the world. The most noticeable change to this new one, is V class’s sharper, bolder bodywork. The grille is now far bigger than before and some upmarket trims even get an LED light band around the revised head and taillights.
Adaptive LEDs are optional, while newly designed 17, 18 and 19-inch wheels are joined by five new paint colours, including uber-cool monoblock wheels on the Exclusive van with its cool thee-pointed-star hood ornament.
New Instruments, Uprated V Cabin
The updated vans get a redesigned instrument cluster and latest Mercedes’s MBUX ‘My Mercedes’ infotainment. The standard, Marco Polo, and EQV come with a pair of 12.3-inch displays and an optional wireless charger on the new center console
There’s also a newremote-start function, heated steering wheel, dimmed rear lighting for night driving, and 64-color ambient interior lighting. Mercedes explains that this V-class is the bridge to an all-electric future.
‘The Bridge to an All Electric Future’
A new EV-specific VAN.EA platform comes in 2026 and before Benz reckons electric vans to make up more than 50 percent of its private and commercial sales by the end of the decade.
