Brabus is known to eke out silly amounts of power from various AMG models. For the Brabus 850 6.0 biturbo GLE, they haven’t changed their ways all that much. The 850 designation comes from its power output of 838 horsepower (850 PS), with an incredible 1,069 lb/ft of gravitational-shifting torque. Extensive engine work had been done to get there, with increased displacement and heavy tweaking to the twin turbos. If you’re looking for a 200 mph SUV though, you need look no further.

In addition to the engine trickery, Brabus has also developed a carbon fiber kit to dress up the 5,000-pound rocket ship. Although it does look good, there are some elements that assist the 200 mph top-end. Wide openings up front help channel air to various engine cooling systems. Any attempt at the air passing under the car to be turbulent is scourged by the diffuser-style rear bumper, with unique F1-style “rain light.” Brabus also likes to show off their taste in wheels, and the 23-inch diameter wheels on this GLE look great. Wrapped in sticky rubber, they’ll keep you well-planted while chasing that 200 mph mark.
