As if the Mercedes-AMG G63 wasn’t tough enough, this one’s got enough armor to withstand small explosions.

For most of us, the most dangerous thing we face while out driving around are distracted drivers with their faces buried in their cell phones. But if you’re rich, famous, or just some Prince of a third world country, there are many more serious things to worry about. Things like being kidnapped or, you know, straight up murdered by some crazy fan or vigilante. For those folks, a serious vehicle capable of providing a shell of protection is necessary. A vehicle like this insane armored Mercedes-AMG G63.

This particular G-Wagen is built by a company called Inkas, which specializes in all sorts of armored vehicles. It costs a cool $1.2-million, but can you really put a price on your life? Besides, Inkas is known for producing army-grade vehicles that can withstand just about anything, and this Mercedes-AMG is no exception. Even if it looks pretty darn stock on outside.

Reinforced body panels with 360-degree composite materials should handle just about anything. It’s been built up to CEN 1063 BR6 ballistic standards, in fact. That means this Mercedes-AMG can take not only high power ammunition (up to 7.62mm), but also explosives. In fact, it can withstand simultaneous explosions from a pair of DM51 grenades without suffering any sort of damage.

In addition to the body panels, the glass is multi-layer bullet resistant. The G-Wagon also boasts a fortified suspension to carry all that extra weight, plus run-flat devices and electrical system protection. Buyers can add a slew of additional options, including a PA system, remote locking, and emergency lights.

Sure, the Mercedes-AMG G63 is one tough vehicle in its own right. But this Inkas-fortified rig is downright indestructible. Which is great news for those wanting to make a coffee run without having to worry about terrorist attacks!
