The Mercedes-Benz SL model was given a facelift recently by the luxury car manufacturer. The modifications include the addition of some equipment and will be included in the models that will come out of the production line in June.
Although the equipment added into the AMG Sports models are priced at £6,625 the price tags of the vehicles have gone down. The Mercedes-Benz SL350 AMG Sports is priced at £69,960, which is lower than the £72,520 of the SL350.
The enjoyable driving experience offered by the Mercedes-Benz SL and SLK sports cars will be expanded further with a number of new features that are available starting April. The 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing originally owned by the Hollywood legend Clark Gable which was featured in the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction on January 19. Both Clark Gable and the car itself are icons of their time. It was expected to sell for over $2 million at the auction, but bidding stalled at $1.9 million. The car was not sold due to the reserve it carried. But later on, it was eventually sold for $1.85 million.
Renown Auto Style, an automotive development company based in California, has given the Mercedes-Benz SL (R230) a new wide body kit.
The company, which is widely known for creating customized kits for Lamborghini models, has given the older model of the SL-Class some customization of its own.
