On this episode, Wayne files to Ohio to buy a diamond in the rough – a 1929 Pierce Arrow, garaged for fifty years. The owner is ready to make a deal, but suddenly has a change of heart when she sees it in the sunlight for the first time. Wayne returns to Connecticut empty handed, but quickly snaps up a like-new, low mileage 240D Mercedes less than 30 miles from home. Later a surprising call from the owner of the Pierce Arrow has Wayne reaching for his checkbook…
