Crazy Swede Dumps Mercedes V12 into Cobra

Sweden is best known for their chocolate, famous skiing, and the Koenigsegg. They’re also known for being notoriously strict about driving and doing silly things with cars, which is why this particular one is so suprising. Yes it’s a Shelby Cobra, but the motor is a Mercedes. A V12, to be exact.

If that sounds like a one way trip into tree, you’d probably be right. Toss in supercharger on top of that and suddenly the already cool cobra becomes straight-up awesome.

All told, this Cobra is an international mutt of a car. The engine is German, the supercharger is american. The Gearbox is a sequential six-speed from a BMW and the suspension was pulled from the Corvette. It’s grab bag of really good parts, and we can only imagine the kind of fun this thing can deliver on the track.

We have no idea what the power is, but we do know it produces an ocean of torque. In the video below you can watch it roar around a small motor sports park in Sweden.
