Radwood ’80s & ’90s Car Show Cruising into SoCal, Dec. 2

By -

The guys behind popular podcasts Driving While Awesome and Cammed & Tubbed are hosting a totally awesome car show in SoCal.

Remember when Marty McFly went back in time in a DeLorean, Michael Knight fought crime with help from Siri’s dad KITT, and mainstream automakers built more than one performance car? Back in the ’80s and ’90s, even Toyota had mojo. Today’s rides are totally bogus compared to quality rolling stock like the Fox-body Mustang, Integra Type-R and even the Ferrari F40.

On Dec. 2, Radwood, invites you to relive those glory days all the way down to your dayglow sunglasses and Jordache jeans.

Radwood 2

Radwood’s creators, famous for the podcasts Driving While Awesome, Cammed & Tubbed, and Clutchkick, know a thing or two about cars, especially tasteful vintage equipment from the ’80s and ’90s. And “Radwood 2,” the group’s second official gathering, promises to provide a head-banging hot rod bonanza that’ll cost you less than a Milli Vanilli cassingle: ten bucks.

If you’re the proud owner of an ’80s or ’90s ride, a few more simoleons gets you entered to compete in the show. Categories range from sport compact, to American muscle, to minitrucks, to all-out race cars. Of course, there will also be some Euro autos mixed in there, too.

Attendees are encouraged to dress the part, so dig out those baggy pants, liberate that old Bananarama tank top, and knock the dust off your favorite pair of L.A. Gear or K-Swiss kicks.

Like The Fast and the Furious, this totally awesome vehicle showcase is certain to spawn many exciting sequels. So, make sure to experience the second edition of Radwood on Dec. 2 in Anaheim, California. This show’s gonna be da bomb.
