Scoop Up Four Black Series Cars at Once in This Mecum Auction Lot
An SL65 AMG Black Series, SLS AMG Black Series, CLK63 AMG Black Series and C63 AMG Black Series are being sold as a group, and we are losing our minds.
Torque, torque, torque and more torque. More than 2,000 lb-ft, in fact. That’s what you’ll have at your disposal if you place the winning bid on this set of four AMG Black Series rides. One of each is represented in the appropriate shade of black, and remarkably, they all have less than 800 miles on them.
Mecum Auctions will visit Kissimmee, Florida from the 5th to the 14th, and these cars will only be sold as a quartet. Lot S118 is what you’ll want to bid on, and with it, you’ll get a 2008 CLK63 Black, a 2009 SL65 Black, a 2013 C63 Black, and a 2014 SLS AMG Black Series. The only one you’ll need to find is an SLK55 Black Series to complete your collection.
Coming from the Michael Fux collection, these AMG’s are part of 20 or so cars that are coming from Fix’s personal collection of more that 160 cars. Fux, an immigrant entrepreneur from Cuba, sure does enjoy his cars, but judging by the low mileage of each one, prefers them to be shown, rather than driven. We can’t fault him for preserving them in near perfect condition, however.
Osceola Heritage Park will host the Mecum auction, and who ever plans on buying them should bring about $1,000,000 in cash and a transporter to load them up. Will the new owner rack up some miles and drive them as intended? We sure hope so.
