Tug-of-War: G-Wagen versus Supra
Until now, I had yet to discuss my love for Supras and my love for G-Wagens in the same post. Thankfully, though, someone has finally caught both together trying to do something utterly stupid and loud.
The video below showcases the ever-popular tug-of-war. It pits what appears to be a drift-spec Supra against a bone-stock Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Let’s see: a 5,600-plus-lb. four-wheel-drive truck versus a rear-wheel-drive drift monster that weighs the same as a G-Wagen cut in half?
I sincerely doubt any of you are surprised at the outcome, but it’s still fun to watch as the Supra gets dragged into its own cloud of tire smoke.
Here’s a question, though: do you know of any rear-wheel-drive car that could drag the Mercedes instead of the other way around?
