Mercedes-AMG teases and tantalizes with shot of camoed GT R Pro ahead of the show.

It appears that Mercedes is aiming to make this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show a memorable event. Taking to social media, the automaker posted an image of the much awaited beastly AMG GT R Pro. The car will finally be revealed, Nov. 28. Of course, Mercedes is going to keep us waiting, with the raging racer wrapped in camouflage.

The Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro will surely be a savage, but Mercedes is going cloak and dagger and only revealing a few details. In particular, the fuel efficiency, which is about 19 miles per gallon (12.4 l per 100 km), with emissions of 284 g/km.

Okay, that’s cool, but what about the GT R Pro’s performance? Considering the GT R is a true track demon, we’re expecting more levels of insanity. In other words, it is going to be awesome. Specifically, likely a lighter ride with upgraded suspension, and some additional power injected to the GT R’s already mind-blowing 4.0 l twin-turbocharged V8.

Mercedes will also have a number of production vehicles on display at the LA Auto Show, so stay tuned.
