HREs at SEMA

Every year, the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall hosts, among other things, many of the wheel and tire displays at SEMA. And it is in these booths that some of the best and much of the worst the automotive world has to offer is shown. We already shared some of the worst (if not the absolute worst) of the South Hall in our Chrysler 300 post, here. Now, I’d like to share some of the best: HRE Wheel’s forged beauties. Although they seemed to be targeting the American market rather strongly, they did have a couple of European rides too (sorry, no Benz’).

Oh and in case you’re curious, the Camaro restomod named the TT, for Twin-Turbo, is powered by a fire-breathing twin-turbo V8 making about 23lbs of boost yielding over 1300 horsepower. For what it’s worth, we were told it could be bumped to over 35lbs! The front and rear body panels are made of carbon fiber and the bottom of the hood had to covered in 24 karat gold foil to reflect the heat that the engine produces.

The rest of these cars are milder, but still pretty cool! Enjoy!
