Jeremy Clarkson Sadly Sells His CLK63 AMG Black Series
Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division is full of Germanic black magic wizards. They get a thrill in creating some of the most wicked cars on the planet. Almost everything that comes out of Affalterbach is over-powered and under-tired. They are smoke machines that don’t require dry ice. Plus, the noise they make is absolutely intoxicating.
Now, I state all of these things that most of you already know due to the fact that sometimes people, crazy people, want more. That’s when they turn to the skunk works Black team inside AMG. If AMGs are mad cars with a predisposition to rip your head off, Black Series AMG cars are like the Predator, they collect spines and flay you alive. And it just so happens, some guy from some car TV show is selling his.
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson, took to Twitter today and said that his CLK63 AMG Black Series is sadly sold. Clarkson tweeted out: “sad day. I just sold my AMG Black.” And then the rest of the Twitter-world attempted to either console Clarkson or make fun of him. But Clarkson’s mate and colleague, Richard Hammond, had perhaps the best reply:
