Forget Minnesota, soon the talk will be all about Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz.

The 2018 Super Bowl just ended, and it’s already time to look ahead. Granted, you may still be feeling the effect of the game, especially if you live in Philadelphia. However, next year the biggest sporting event in the United States takes place in Atlanta, at the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

To help promote the beautiful stadium and city of Atlanta, Mercedes-Benz teamed up with the city to make a commercial highlighting exactly what makes the “ATL” so great. They also brought a little star power to the spot, by enlisting rapper/actor/Atlanta native Ludacris. And if you know anything about Ludacris, he’s a professional hype man like no other.

In the ad, you can tell that Atlanta is looking at the upcoming Super Bowl as an opportunity to not only bring football fans for the big game, but also to show that Atlanta isn’t just sweet tea and Georgia peaches. After Ludacris’ introduction, you see quick shots of various people who live in Atlanta, highlighting the diversity and culture that exists there. Clearly, Atlanta is hoping to showcase a side of the city that goes against the stereotypes of the American South.

But if the city doesn’t do enough to attract people to go to Super Bowl 53, then perhaps the stadium will do the trick. With its massive Mercedes-Benz logo, and state of the art technology, the stadium is a modern marvel. It’s beautiful! With an estimated cost of $1.6 billion, it’s obvious that no expense was spared in the construction of the building. There’s no doubt you’ll hear plenty about the stadium as the next football season begins in the Fall.

We can’t wait to see what Mercedes-Benz has up its sleeve as the year progresses and we get close to next February.
