Woman Involved in DUI and Hit/Run Accident, Hours After Buying New Mercedes!

Normally it’s other German car owners that are known for being total wankers behind the wheel (I’m looking at you BMW drivers), but this time it was a Mercedes-Benz owner that stole the spotlight in Orange County, California, and not for the right reasons.

Well, does it count if she’d only been a Mercedes owner for a couple of hours? Yup, that’s right. According to ABC7, the woman you see pictured here, Laguna Beach resident Aya Ibish, managed to hit a cyclist with her brand-new Mercedes-Benz CLA, but did not stop to assist the injured cyclist. Instead, she sped away! Later on Ibish was apprehended after a police officer spotted a car that matched the description put out by authorities. After all, it’s not that hard to find a gray with red accents CLA-Class with paper plates.

Once the woman was pulled over, she was thought to be driving under the influence, which was later verified by the officer’s DUI investigation.

And, as it turns out, Ibish had just posted the above picture to her Instagram account hours before the incident.

What should’ve been an awesome day of celebrating Ibish’s new Benz turned into a nightmare, due to her irresponsibility and lack of care for others. If this woman is indeed guilty of these charges, I hope she pays justly and learns a very valuable lesson.
