New 2017 Mercedes-AMG E63 S Drag Races Modified RS7 and M6

Even with a load of extra power, Audi and BMW still have a hard time outrunning a stock AMG.

The new Mercedes-AMG E 63 S is hot news. With increased horsepower, 4Matic all-wheel drive, and an extra dash of style and luxury, this is easily the best E-Class ever. But how does it perform against its rivals? With about 600 horsepower under the hood and all-wheel traction, it should be a monster at the drag stip. Thankfully, those crazy folks at Dragtimes Info have some video footage of just how quick this thing is.

In this video we have a shiny new E63 S lined up against an Audi RS7 and a BMW M6.

Stock Mercedes-AMG E63 S holds its own against tuned BMW and Audi.

Now, we all know that wouldn’t be even close to a fair fight, but no worries. These are not normal factory cars from Audi and BMW. They have both been enhanced and upgraded to the tune of 750 horsepower. So we have two 750 hp rivals lined up against the new 600 hp E63 S.

When the lights go green, it is immediately obvious that the new Mercedes in nothing to mess with. It launches off the line with so much force that it jumps ahead by multiple car lengths in the early stages of the race.

Sadly, when the race is a half-mile long, that extra horsepower can really make up that launch advantage. When all is said and done, the RS7 managed to beat the new E-Class, but the M6 was thoroughly trounced. Considering both of those cars are holding 150 horsepower advantages over the AMG, we think that is an incredible performance.

Now we just can’t wait for this thing to hit tuners. Can you imagine how hilariously fast this new luxury sedan would be with an extra 150 horsepower? Might as well start drag racing F-14s at that point.
